Bright smiles, colourful costumes, enthusiastic performances, and proud parents filled the atmosphere as Quantum Rise International School (QRIS), Al Kharj, celebrated its Annual Day with an evening dedicated to student achievement, creativity, and togetherness.
With more than 500 attendees, including parents, students, teachers, and distinguished guests, the celebration brought the school community together for three memorable hours, from 7:45 PM to 10:45 PM.
From recognising academic excellence to watching young children confidently take the stage, the evening reflected the spirit of learning and participation that QRIS strives to nurture.
A Warm Welcome and a Celebration of Achievement
The evening began with the QRIS Student Council welcoming esteemed guests to the open auditorium, setting a respectful and celebratory tone for the official ceremony.
The presentation of the school’s Annual Report highlighted its educational journey, activities, and progress, giving parents and guests an opportunity to reflect on the school’s development.
One of the proudest moments was the Outstanding Student Achievement Awards, where 21 students from Grades 1 to 6 received merit certificates in recognition of their accomplishments.
For the award recipients and their families, it was a special moment of appreciation, celebrating the dedication and effort behind every achievement.

The Annual Day was honoured by the presence of Chief Guest Ms. Meera Rahman, former Principal of International Indian School Riyadh (IISR), who delivered the inaugural address.

12 Cultural Performances, Countless Memorable Moments
Following the official ceremony, the stage came alive with 12 cultural programmes showcasing the enthusiasm and creativity of QRIS students.
The performances included a welcome dance by Grades 1 and 2, energetic Zumba and Western dance routines, Bollywood-inspired performances, and charming kindergarten presentations.
The youngest learners captured attention through a Nursery fashion show, a forest-themed LKG performance promoting nature conservation, and lively dances by UKG boys and girls.
Adding variety to the evening, students presented a Cinderella-themed drama, a thought-provoking mime exploring modern distractions and harmful influences, and a yoga presentation featuring flags of different countries.
Each performance offered children an opportunity to express themselves, work together, and experience the confidence that comes from participating on stage.
More Than a Celebration: Learning Beyond the Classroom
For parents exploring schools in Al Kharj, an Annual Day offers a meaningful glimpse into the experiences that shape a child’s school life.
At QRIS, we believe that education should create opportunities for children to develop communication skills, creativity, teamwork, self-expression, and confidence alongside their academic learning.
Whether receiving a merit certificate, performing in a group dance, or participating in a theatrical presentation, every child has something valuable to gain from being involved.
The evening also gave families time to connect, with light food and refreshments served during the celebration.
A Celebration of Every Child’s Potential
The QRIS Annual Day was a celebration of achievement, imagination, and the collective efforts of students, teachers, parents, and the wider school community.

We extend our sincere appreciation to our chief guest, distinguished dignitaries, dedicated staff, supportive parents, and every student who contributed to making the evening memorable.
At Quantum Rise International School, Al Kharj, we believe every child deserves opportunities to discover their strengths, express their talents, and grow with confidence.
And on Annual Day, that belief came to life on stage.
