Structured co-curricular participation is linked to stronger academic performance and emotional regulation across multiple developmental studies. Eleven activities are available through the new programme, spanning physical development, creative expression, and cognitive training. Physical sports (taekwondo, basketball, football, table tennis, and badminton) teach children discipline, teamwork, and resilience through structured practice. Creative activities (vocal and instrumental music, dance, aerobics, and school band) build performance confidence and, for many expatriate families, cultural connection. Cognitive activities (chess, abacus, and yoga) address strategic thinking, numerical fluency, and self-regulation skills. The programme is open to students from Kindergarten through Grade 7. Enrolment is currently open through school contact channels.

At Quantum Rise International School, we have always believed that a child’s education extends well beyond the classroom. Academic excellence matters – but so does the child who learns to lose gracefully on a chessboard, find their voice in a music class, or build physical discipline through martial arts. These are the experiences that shape character.
Today, we are proud to announce the official launch of the QRIS Club – a structured co-curricular programme open to all students from Kindergarten to Grade 7.
What Is the QRIS Club?
The QRIS Club is a dedicated enrichment programme offering students the opportunity to explore, develop, and excel in activities outside their core curriculum. It is designed around three development areas that every child deserves access to: physical development, creative expression, and cognitive growth.

Why Co-Curricular Development Matters
Research consistently shows that students who participate in structured co-curricular activities demonstrate stronger academic performance, better emotional regulation, and higher levels of self-confidence. Skills developed through Taekwondo or Chess carry directly into the classroom – in the form of focus, patience, and resilience.
Our CBSE and IGCSE programmes provide strong academic foundations. The QRIS Club is where that foundation gets tested, applied, and deepened through real-world skills and peer interaction.
